Be an ECO Hero!

Character design for 4 Eco-heroes. Each of them plays a different role and has an important task – creating awareness and educating the public to fight global warming.

The idea was extended into four comic strips targeted at youth. Every hero is responsible for promoting a different green message. The comic is published in the monthly newsletter distributed to the community.

# Agent Spotless

# Captain Recycle

Watch out for the sequels!

An Eco-heroes drawing competition driven by the same objective was organised to encourage the youth to express their creativity with the Eco-heroes.

I was very honoured to be invited to conduct a workshop for a youth camp, sharing my knowledge and demonstrating some basic techniques of creating your own comics.

The comic workshop was fun and an enjoyable experience.

I'd like to thank for the great opportunity. And a big thank you to for the wonderful pictures!

Let's go green!

Didn't want to walk home

Mrs brown's old grandfather lived her and her husband. Every morning he went for a walk in the park and came home at half past twelve for his lunch.

But one morning a police car stopped outside Mrs Brown's house at twelve o'clock, and two policemen helped Mr Brown to get out. One of them said to Mrs Brown " The poor old gentleman lost his way in the park and telephoned to us for help,so we sent a car to bring him home'. Mrs Brown was very surprised, but she thanked the policemen and they left.

" But, Grandfather' , she then said , '' you have been to that park nearly every day for twenty years. How did you lose your way there ?"

The old man smiled . Closed one eye and said " I didn't quite lose my way .I just got tired and I didn't want to walk home !

Today we’re studying another scene from the movie Duplicity.
In this scene a man and a woman are discussing how suitable they are for a job.
And the woman says: This is way over your head.
Over sb’s head is an idiom which means: too difficult or complicated for sb to understand.

So she’s saying that this job is too difficult for him, or he’s not experienced or skilled enough to handle it.

Then she asks: How long have you been working for Equikrom?
Equikrom is the name of a company and that question is a very useful one to remember: How long have you been + ing?

How long have you been studying English?
How long have you been learning the piano?
How long have you been working on it?
How long have you been playing?
