After visiting the capitol in Austin, TX we visited the Alamo in San Antonio, TX. It was a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. But it's very pretty with the beautiful gardens. It does possess a sacred and hallow spirit b/c of the tragic event which took place there about 170 years ago or so.
Friday evening we went to the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX. It's within walking distance to the Alamo. Along this riverwalk there are a ton of restaurants with outside dining areas. The waterfalls and gardens were really cool.
On Saturday morning, we went to the Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, TX where they had a butterfly farm. The butterflies really liked Katrina and Jayson. Daniel enjoyed the butterflies, too. Can you see the butterflies in the pics?
After the butterfly house we went to the Enchanted Rock State Park near Fredericksburg, TX. We waited in line outside the park for 40 minutes before getting in, but the climb and view were very much worth the wait. I forgot my camera, so I have to get some pictures from Katrina.
